The OpportunityWe’re looking for a strategic, commercially savvy, insights driven Category Development & Shopper Manager to help shape how our brands win in the New Zealand market. This is a chance to play a truly influential role at the intersection of brand, shopper, and commercial strategy.You’ll lead how our brands show up across the NZ retail landscape, champion best in class execution, and drive initiatives that meaningfully grow our categories and strengthen our customer partnerships.You'll have an opportunity to work on incredible brands across the Nestlé Beverages such as Nescafé, Milo, Starbucks and Nesquik!A Day in the Life… Own the flawless execution of the NZ brand plan across priority categories. Develop and activate shopper and trade execution plans that align with commercial strategies and strengthen category performance. Collaborate cross functionally to ensure consistent, on brand implementation across all retail touchpoints. Provide relevant, timely, local consumer insights to the Oceania Marketing Team to support the development of the NZ brand plan. Translate shopper behaviour, category trends, and competitive insights into actionable recommendations. Partner with Commercial Development Managers to deliver category focused support for the sales organisation. Contribute to customer presentations, category reviews, and strategic selling stories. Ensure category initiatives directly support growth, share objectives, and customer needs.Are you a fit?You’ll thrive in this role if you: Bring strong experience in category development, shopper marketing, brand management(FMCG experience a plus). Possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to convert insights into compelling commercial actions. Communicate confidently across cross functional teams and customer facing environments. Are passionate about influencing shopper behaviour and driving category growth. Work collaboratively, proactively, and with a growth mindset.
