POSITION:  CATEGORY HEAD: FootwearINDUSTRY: Fashion Lifestyle/FootwearWe Are Hiring: Category Head – FootwearFootwear is a world of its own — engineering, design, comfort science, and cultural nuance.We are hiring a globally experienced Category Head – Shoes to lead the entire footwear portfolio across Asia and Africa.A powerful leadership role for someone who understands how to build a category from concept to commercial impact.Job DescriptionRole Title: Category Head – FootwearLocation:  Dubai, UAEMarkets:   Asia & AfricaRole MissionTo lead product creation, sourcing, pricing, buying, and market expansion for the footwear division while strengthening brand identity and commercial scale.Key ResponsibilitiesCategory Leadership• Lead the full footwear category strategy and roadmap• Develop segmentation across lifestyle, athleisure, casual, and formal• Build region-specific strategies for Asia & AfricaProduct & Design Direction• Oversee design briefs, materials, pattern making, and prototyping• Approve construction methods, outsole development, last shapes, and fit specs• Track global footwear innovation and incorporate into seasonal rangesSourcing & Vendor Management• Build supplier networks• Manage cost negotiations, production planning, QC, and compliance• Ensure quality benchmarks and international testing standardsMerchandising & Commercials• Plan pricing, margin ladders, and assortment depth• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and SKU optimisation• Monitor sell-through and lead market feedback loopsCross-Functional Alignment• Work with retail, demand planning, design, and marketing teams• Build aligned GTM calendars for each market• Lead competitor and consumer intelligence projectsDesired Profile• 10–15 years in Footwear Category Management / Merchandising• Strong global sourcing exposure• Expertise in fit, materials, last engineering, outsole tech• Strong P&L understanding and commercial thinking• Leadership presence and ability to drive multi-market growthApply Now!
