We help our customers to diversify and to grow through the work of our consultants and the technical expertise of our Solution & Project Delivery Department.To strengthen our team in the German part of Switzerland, we are looking for a Piping Category Specialist and Buyer EN (M/F/X) to start as soon as possible.ABOUT THE JOB:The Piping Global Category Specialist manages the procurement category management activities investment projects and coordinates with Capex Lead buyers and Piping Subject Matter Expert (SME) the planning and execution of projects mainly at the Visp site and, if required, at other sites.Responsibilities:Execute and update of overall Category StrategiesManagement of demand, supply and capacity with key suppliers and stakeholdersSupplier Relationship Management with key partnersMonitoring market for technological and regulatory trendsScanning market and internal stakeholder for identifying, analyzing and mitigating risksDelivering regular reports on market intelligence for lead time and pricesDevelopment of purchasing execution strategies for projectsProcurement of Piping bulk material, fittings, flanges, supports, insulation, passivation, piping installation services and designStrategic and operational procurement tasks, includingDefinition and implementation of the procurement strategy as well as targets / department or supplier, taking into account the market situation and classification of productsBundling of procurement measures within the plant and in conjunction with other sitesPreparation, conclusion and maintenance of framework agreementsDevelopment of action plans, relationship management with suppliers, evaluation of new suppliers and management of strategic key account (supplier) activitiesOptimization of LifeCycleCost (LCC) and reduction of material, transport, ancillary and follow-up costsCoordination, lead or participation in projects to further the development and improve the efficiency of technical purchasing as well as to achieve common targetsMember of the Global Category Team for Construction, Fit-out and AutomationLeading and responsible for large & complex RFQ packages End to End.Responsible for weekly update of his/her packages in Procurement Management Plan (PMP)Supporting on medium & simple RFQ packagesSupporting team with category specific benchmarks and costs break downsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related discipline3+ years of Pharma or Biotech experience, or similar environment with sterile environment (e.g. semiconductors for clean rooms).2+ years experience doing tendering of complex and large piping and/or mechanical packages in GMP environment for the relevant industry mentioned aboveHigh expertise in regional (EU and UK) and local market (DACH region) for relevant categories2+ years experience with category managementImplementation ofcategory strategy and implementedExcellent social skills and stakeholder managementAdvanced level negotiationsFluent English, German advantageousThis is a hybrid role, offering 2 days Home Office and 3 days On-Site role.EFOR Group’s legal entity, KALIPSIA AG is based at Holbeinstr. 50, 4051 Basel, is recruiting and managing client relationships.
