We are building a new engineering team, and we are looking for passionate, hands-on technologists to help us lead the way. CDSClear IT is the team behind the technology powering CDSClear - a critical clearing service within the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). We are looking for a highly skilled Java Full Stack Engineer with React experience to analyse requirements, design, develop and deliver high quality and well tested Java server side and React UI solutions. The role is part of the build out of a new team based in Bucharest. The new team will collaborate with colleagues in London and Paris to deliver innovative solutions.What You’ll Be Doing:Take ownership within end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, using Agile or traditional methodologies as needed.Engineering the Java back end of applications as well enhancements to React front end as required, plus their tests.Analysis of business and functional requirements to design solutions.Collaborate with global teams on design of application change or that of the supporting infrastructure.Automation, from testing to deployment, to ensure speed and quality.Work within a regulated financial environment, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.Occasional out of hours support for releases or incidents.What You’ll Bring:Experienced with the design and development of Java-based backend services (Spring Boot, microservices architecture) using build tools such as Maven or Gradle.Intermediate level frontend (React & UI/UX) technology skills - e.g. React.js, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 etc.Practical experience with Testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress) for automated testing of Web Applications.Exhibit the skills required to engineer services configured to meet corporate standards including those for resilience and information security.Experience using Ansible to configure and deploy applications.Linux skills suitable for managing software and debugging issues.Experience enhancing pipelines in CI/CD tools to improve test or deployment processes.It would help us if you have:Ability to design and develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.Engineered scalable and resilient applications running within Kubernetes clusters.Familiarity with code and dependency scanning toolsets for SCM, container scanning and static analysis.Used Artifactory as part of previous SDLC experience.Experience of using AI tools to improve development productivity.Benefits:We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios!
