And that’s where you come in.Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid)CAE Hardware EngineerDescription:We are currently looking for a CAE Signalling Engineer to join the CAE team in Hitachi Rail Romania. The role is full-time and permanent. As Hardware Engineer in the CAE team you will, together with the team, be responsible for the configuration of site/station specific data for electronic interlocking, train control system and Traffic Management System based in alignment with customer requirements.Key Responsibilities and tasks:Prepare PT2 hardware design of indoor and outdoor equipment for the complete system and productsMaterialization of needed hardware. Creation of documents for installation, manufacturing, validation and acceptance. Design for complex projects based on customer requirements (PT1)Liaise with other departments internally and project groups in Signalling ProgrammeTake part in the continuous improvement of the engineering process, and tools to reduce effort and improve qualityParticipation in offer preparation for work packages in your area of responsibilityMaterialisation of required equipment for the production processCreation of the site specific drawings for assembly, installation, test and commissioning as well as validation and approvalVerification of Engineering DataParticipation in definition of the system conceptDelivery of design documentation as input for installation, validation, test and commissioningMinimise the data iterations to avoid rework in the following processesParticipate in verification/peer reviewsProduce and manage the baselinesAnalyse and correct defectsSkills and experience:Trust is a key value in the team to allow a good working atmosphere.
