About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced trainer to help lead delivery of our educational programs on impact investing and sustainable finance targeting wealth holders and their advisors.
Reporting to the Director of Programming and Engagement, this role focuses primarily on training and program execution, working within established frameworks while bringing deep subject matter expertise to enhance program quality. As our Senior Manager (or Director) of Training, you will be the go-to trainer, taking ownership of established training programs while supporting the execution of new program initiatives. This position is ideal for someone passionate about adult education, impact investing, sustainable finance, and delivering high-quality learning experiences that drive meaningful change.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery (40%)Serve as primary trainer and facilitator for core modules in direct wealth holder training programs, both in-person and onlineDeliver foundational content for in-house trainings through partner organizationsServe as expert trainer for new program initiatives under guidance of Director of Programming and EngagementEnsure consistent quality, messaging, and learning outcomes across all training sessionsProgram Management and Program Support (40%)Take ownership of managing 1-3 existing training programs, improving upon and delivering existing curricula and templates, including overseeing speaker management, logistics, etcSupport Director of Programming and Engagement on program improvements and iterations for other programsProvide subject matter expertise input on curriculum development and program design across programsSupport evaluation and assessment of program effectiveness through participant feedbackAssist with translation of research findings into training content where applicableContribute to cost-effectiveness goals for training programsExternal Representation & Partnership Support (10%)Represent the organization as a subject matter expert at industry conferences, panels, and speaking engagementsCultivate relationships with senior-level partners, potential collaborators, and ecosystem leadersParticipate in high-profile industry discussions and contribute to sector-wide conversations on impact investing and wealth managementTeam Collaboration & Development (10%)Work collaboratively within CSP team in the US, as well as with teams in Europe and AsiaSupport capacity building across the team by sharing expertise and best practicesParticipate in strategic team planning and workflow optimization initiativesContribute to organizational growth planning as the team scalesRequired QualificationsMinimum 7 years of substantive experience with demonstrated expertise in content delivery and facilitation for adult audiences on finance-related topicsBackground and subject-matter expertise in sustainable finance sector, particularly impact investing, philanthropy, sustainable finance, or wealth managementSenior-level presentation and thought leadership experience, including speaking at industry conferences or professional eventsExperience in instructional design and curriculum developmentKnowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologiesProven track record of engaging and educating professional audiences, particularly high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors and/or senior wealth management industry executivesStrong facilitation skills for both virtual and in-person formats with groups of varying sizesExperience with program management and coordinating multiple training initiatives simultaneouslyDemonstrated robust project management skills and expertise in a fast-paced, quickly evolving organizationDemonstrated ability to engage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholdersExceptional written and oral communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal skills Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, small-team environmentFlexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environmentTech-savvy with proficiency in GSuite, Asana, Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite, etcWillingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to approximately 20%) for training delivery, conference presentations, and strategic meetingsPreferred QualificationsMasters or Ph.
