Rumford Community Home is seeking a per-diem Dietary Aide/Cook to join our team!This position pays $18 per hour! The Dietary Cook/Aide role at Rumford Community Home is responsible for meal preparation and service, ensuring residents receive nutritious and high-quality meals in accordance with established food handling guidelines. As a Cook, you'll prepare and serve meals following federal, state, and local health regulations, ensuring proper food handling and maintaining a clean work environment.
As a Dietary Aide, you'll assist in all aspects of meal preparation under the guidance of the Charge Cook, help with tray assembly and delivery, clean designated areas, and follow safety procedures. Education And ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent1-3 years of cooking experienceExperience cooking in a healthcare setting preferred. Living In Central MaineWhile not at work, our team members enjoy the endless opportunities for entertainment that Maine has to offer. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy skiing, boating along the coast and hiking at a state or national park.
