Role OverviewThis leadership position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of strategic events, programs and initiatives across the organization. The role ensures that major business events, product-focused initiatives, and promotional activities are aligned with business objectives, category growth targets, and customer engagement strategies. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to lead teams to deliver high-impact results on key events and campaigns throughout the year.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Strategy & PlanningLead the strategic design and execution of large-scale business events and initiatives across the platform and key categories.Collaborate with senior leadership and commercial teams to define objectives, performance metrics, and budgets for major sales events and event initiatives.Develop comprehensive schedules and strategies for key business cycles, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and commercial objectives.Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, commercial, operations) to ensure seamless execution and maximum impact for key events.Tailor strategies to meet specific objectives and target audiences, ensuring initiatives are optimized for conversion and engagement.Execution & Operational ManagementOversee the flawless execution of key sales events, ensuring they are delivered on time and across multiple channels (website, app, social media, digital platforms).Manage operational workflows, ensuring effective coordination between stakeholders and that all timelines and deliverables are met.Track progress in real-time and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize performance and meet established goals.Performance Optimization & ReportingMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, sales, and customer engagement to assess the effectiveness of major initiatives.Lead post-event analysis, identifying key performance drivers and areas for improvement for future initiatives.Implement data-driven changes to optimize future events and ensure alignment with evolving business priorities.Cross-functional LeadershipCollaborate with teams across commercial, product, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless planning and execution of key initiatives.Partner with tech and product teams to improve platform tools, features, and automation to enhance event delivery and customer interaction.Work with regional and local teams to ensure alignment with market-specific needs and ensure global initiatives are localized for maximum impact.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on strategic programs and execution.Set clear performance objectives and KPIs for team members to drive excellence and accountability.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.6+ years of experience in program management, event coordination and execution, or strategic operations, with at least 3 years in a team management role.Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale initiatives or business events.Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to guide teams toward shared goals.Highly analytical, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to lead teams and influence senior management.Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced business environment.Proficiency with program management tools, analytics platforms, and digital ecosystems.
