CGI Senior 3D artist (on-site, NL)

In this role, you’ll guide a small team and lead projects from concept to delivery, working closely with our creative directors and clients. At Parallel, we value collaboration and a flat hierarchy: your ideas and creative input will not only be appreciated, but expected.Your roleAs a Senior 3D Artist at Parallel, you play a key role in shaping the visual quality and creative direction of our projects. You will be responsible for translating architectural designs into compelling, photorealistic imagery that tells a story — from initial concept to final delivery.Lead and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring creative vision, technical precision, and deadlines are met.Collaborate closely with clients and creative directors, understanding project goals and translating them into strong visual narratives.Guide and mentor junior and mid-level artists, providing feedback, sharing techniques, and fostering a culture of learning and experimentation.Develop and refine concepts, defining composition, mood, lighting, and color direction for both interior and exterior scenes.Take ownership of quality, maintaining consistency across renders and ensuring every image meets our studio’s high standards.Work hands-on in production, from modeling and texturing to lighting, rendering, and post-production.Explore innovation, testing new workflows, software, and visual techniques to push the creative boundaries of architectural visualization.Contribute to studio development, helping shape the direction of our visual style, pipeline, and internal processes.Your ProfileFluent in English (our main studio language).Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field from a recognized institution.5+ years of professional experience in architectural visualization.Strong understanding of architectural drawings and design principles.Expert knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, Forest Pack, and RailClone.Skilled in Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.A great eye for composition, lighting, color, and post-production.Curious, proactive, and eager to explore new methods and technologies.What We OfferCompetitive salary aligned with Dutch graphical industry standards.8% holiday allowance and a pension fund.Paid holidays and paid sick days.Travel allowance and use of an office bike (also for personal use).Courses, workshops, and a personal learning budget to grow your skills.An inspiring office located in the city center of Amsterdam.An international team of 20+ creative professionals.A collaborative environment with room for your own creativity and initiatives.Regular team events including dinners, trips, summer BBQs, and Christmas celebrations.An annual summer trip with the full team.A diverse portfolio of real estate, interior, and landscape visualization projects.
