Role OverviewMy client is seeking an experienced and strategic Chair to lead the Board of a growing UK technology enabled business. The Chair will provide strong governance, clear strategic oversight, and guidance to the executive team, ensuring the company is well-positioned for sustainable growth, innovation, and long-term value creation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership to the Board, ensuring effective governance and alignment with shareholder objectives.Support and challenge the CEO and executive team, acting as a trusted advisor while maintaining appropriate independence.Guide the development and implementation of the company’s long-term strategic vision and growth agenda.Oversee the performance of the business at a strategic level, ensuring the organisation remains agile, innovative, and competitive.Ensure the highest standards of corporate governance, transparency, and compliance across the organisation.Lead the Board in evaluating risk management frameworks and key investment decisions.Foster a constructive and high-performing Board culture, ensuring diversity of thought and effective decision-making.Represent the company externally with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and strategic partners.Champion corporate values, sustainability, and responsible business practices.Key RequirementsProven experience as a Chair or Non-Executive Director within a technology-led organisation, ideally at scale or listed level.Strong understanding of governance, board leadership, and shareholder relations.Demonstrated ability to support management teams in executing growth and transformation strategies.Commercially astute with deep strategic insight into the UK and global tech landscape.Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Integrity, independence of thought, and the ability to balance challenge with support.This is a highly confidential search, and all potential candidates will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before any details are shared.
