Job Description As our Channel Account Manager at Sage, every day you will be responsible for establishing and maximizing strategic direction and execution of partner sales for a set of Sage partners. To thrive in this role, you will maximize sales opportunities, drive business development, establish and manage executive/primary relationships, and serve as a single point of contact with Sage for top business partner(s). Your three main focus areas will be sales specialist, business growth consultant, and relationship manager.*This is a hybrid office role that meets three times a week in a Sage office* Business growth consultant providing advice and assistance to partners in maximizing opportunities to build and accelerate the partner's business and revenue. Build and manage relationships with partners as a trusted advisor and single point of contact within Sage. Monitor goals set by the partner and Sage to increase partner product revenue and productivity. Track and communicate key performance metrics, such as New Revenue, Product Revenue, pipeline strength, and customer renewal rates, and provide feedback for course correction that enables partners to meet or exceed their goals. Create and execute action plans on behalf of the partner to engage the appropriate Sage cross-functional teams in contributing to the partner's sales and development efforts. Advise the partner on marketing activities and tactics, leveraging industry conferences, Sage capabilities, and events as necessary.Minimum qualifications: At least 5 years of work experience in partner management, managing channel reseller and ISV partnerships with successful quota carrying experience. Must have experience working with and managing a pipeline through a CRM system, preferably Salesforce. Strong commercial and product instincts and the ability to prioritize and guide cross-functional teams through competing demands and complex problems. Technical acumen, an ability to understand Sage’s product portfolio and strategy, and use this understanding to define requirements with partners and evaluate new revenue opportunities. Deep understanding of subscription-based cloud software business models. Ability to travel to certain partner events (approximately 10% travel).Perks? We have plenty.
