Job Description

The Director plays a vital leadership role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with all state regulations, managing staff performance, maintaining budgets, and fostering strong relationships with families and the community. This position requires both strategic and hands-on management to ensure a safe, nurturing, and growth-oriented environment for students and staff alike.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, support, and develop staff through coaching, 1-on-1s, evaluations, and ongoing training.Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, payroll, and adherence to labor guidelines.Manage enrollment, parent communication, and student readiness processes.Maintain compliance with Bright from the Start (BFTS) standards and other licensing requirements.Direct financial operations including P&L management, budgeting, accounts receivable, and billing through Procare.Ensure curriculum implementation and classroom readiness across all age groups.Oversee facility operations such as building maintenance, safety drills, emergency readiness, and supply budgets.Coordinate events such as Open Houses, staff meetings, and community outreach.Reports Directly to regional managersSupervise administrative processes including files, records, audits, and Quality Rated readiness.Partner with the Assistant and Associate Directors to execute responsibilities across departments such as curriculum, compliance, and operations.Qualifications and SkillsMinimum 2 years of Director experience in a licensed childcare or early learning environment.Strong understanding of Georgia state childcare licensing and BFTS standards.Proven ability to lead a team with compassion, accountability, and professionalism.Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.Experience with Procare and general financial reporting preferred.40 Hour Director TrainingBachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred.BenefitsPaid holidaysFree first aid and CPR trainingMeals provided during student lunch timeEmployee snack and coffee stationWage is based on experience, credentials and precision positionEmployee discountSupplemental insuranceProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High School DiplomaBachelors (Preferred)Experience:Preschool Management: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:CDA, TCC, or equivalent or higher (Required)Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceEducation:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:Director : 1 year (Required)
