Skipton International is seeking a strategic and client-focused Senior Manager – Corporate to lead and develop our corporate deposit function. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing the corporate client base, driving business development, and overseeing the end-to-end client journey – from onboarding through to exit. You will play a key role in shaping the corporate proposition, enhancing client experience, and contributing to the overall commercial strategy of the business. Key AccountabilitiesClient Relationship Management & Business DevelopmentOwn and manage relationships with corporate clients, ensuring a high standard of service and long-term engagement.
Identify and secure new deposit opportunities, including high-net-worth (HNW) clients and profitable channels. Maintain a detailed and accurate sales pipeline, reporting on client activity, conversion rates, and value. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of sales targets and a seamless client experience. Approve new corporate business proposals, balancing commercial opportunity with risk and compliance. Corporate Proposition & StrategyAnalyse market trends and client feedback to refine and evolve the corporate offering. Lead the development of new initiatives to enhance market presence and product diversification. Work with marketing to deliver targeted campaigns, events, and collateral.
Oversee the corporate onboarding journey, ensuring efficiency and positive outcomes. Define and monitor SLAs to ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction. Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead and develop a team of business development, relationship management, and corporate associates. Ensure the team is equipped with the skills, training, and tools to deliver the corporate strategy. Foster a high-performance culture aligned with Skipton’s values and behaviours. Strategic Contribution & Change ManagementContribute to the Corporate Plan and commercial strategy. Champion continuous improvement and process optimisation across the client journey. Collaborate with operational teams to streamline processes and enhance compliance and accuracy.
Marketing, Reputation & RiskEnhance Skipton’s reputation through strategic engagement with clients, stakeholders, and the media. Ensure all marketing materials are compliant, accurate, and aligned with brand values. Provide accurate management information to support performance monitoring and decision-making. Ensure full compliance with all relevant policies and regulatory requirements. RequirementsEssential: Skills: Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proven leadership and team management experience. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the deposit market and regulatory environment, particularly in Guernsey and under the GFSC Handbook. Experience: Demonstrated success in corporate relationship management and business development within financial services. DesirableQualifications:
