KEY DIFFERENTIATORSCapability to research consumer trends, develop strategies, and create plans to drive growth across all channels with both B2B and B2C customers in line with business and brand objectivesExcellence project management, communication, presentation and relation building skills to works closely with local and regional stakeholders to deliver projects needed to satisfy local consumer needsFoster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement, continuously following the development of various media channels to understand how to engage B2B customers for business growth.Curious and creative mindsetWell-structured and organized way of and passion for teamworkAbility to manage external relations with creative, media, PR and trade marketing agenciesCollaborate with internal stakeholders (Brand Marketing, Sales, Finance), as well with other departments to create compelling and visually appealing insight-based activations aim at driving salesSolid Interpersonal skills, in particular strong interaction skills; building consensus, impact and influence and resolving conflict and assertiveness skills.Experience RequiredDegree in marketing, international business, or a related field, or equivalent proven professional experience3+ years of working experience in brand, trade, consumer marketing and/or execution of store concepts (experience in category management project is an advance)Knowledge of key marketing principles, strategies, and best practicesAbility to manage multiple projects with varying priority at the same time, to deliver results on budget & timeExperience in managing strategic and operational channel plans, including budgetExperience in evaluating and managing channel performance in a market by using KPIs (ex. market share, brand awareness)Good product knowledge and a firm understanding of the painting/construction industry is an advantage but not a mustExcellent negotiation skillsStrategic Accountabilities Local Channel, Trade, Shopper Marketing ActivationsPartner, support and work with the brand managers B2C/B2B to:deliver 360-degree activations where relevant and own any tailored creative briefs by engaging with relevant agencies where required to deliver tailored channel content/materialsgain greater understanding of Shoppers and Consumers and analyse trends to scope, recommend, execute and track channel and customer plans in terms of assortment, distribution, product, price and promotionPrepare, control and implement Channel Marketing Plans in collaboration with respective sales managers in line with brand plans to achieve financial and business objectives by proposing clear guidelines about perfect assortment, in store execution, promotional calendar, incentive programs and omnichannel activationsDefine opportunities of category management implementations in retail / DIY aligned with Emea strategy and follow up overall strategy and tracking of initiativesEnsure proposed activation plans align to brand communication and NPD objectives across the relevant touch points of each customer’s journey including promotions and NPD to influence behaviour and conversionWorking with the Brand Managers and Digital Marketing specialist, to ensure our brands are visible on all channelsExecute trade fairs and local events Budget & Team ResponsibilitiesRegularly monitor the external market to identify trends and growth opportunities and to build an in-depth knowledge that contributes towards the budget planning processProducing the required activation trackers, evaluate return on investment and recommend improvementsManage the A&P budget for areas of responsibilityIdentify opportunities for, and implement sharing of, best practice across the wider marketing teamWork closely with Sales and Retailers to optimize our store presence and first point of contact for stores/retailers VIP Store Concept in TRADE and Channel Marketing Management Together with Brand Manager, analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growthMap out a clear picture of the customer journey (B2B/B2C) and the ideal, most profitable journey path to ensure profitability of the designed store experiencesResponsible for the development, implementation, and optimisation of an integrated marketing program to deliver the organizations’ business goals for VIP customers in tradeEnsure activations of activities for B2B target audiences, following yearly planMOBILITY AND LANGUAGESVery good skills in spoken and written local language & EnglishMight require some travels, 5-10% working timePPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
