Reports ToVice President, PeopleWhat You Will Be DoingAs the Director, People Europe, you will work across HR disciplines and play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy and operations for our fast-paced electric vehicle charging company within the technology sector.
Responsible for our European team and people strategy, you will lead and inspire across the European and global People Team to drive organizational success through innovative People solutions while ensuring compliance with regional regulations and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. What You Will Bring to ChargePointPartner with the General Manager and SVP Sales Europe to develop and implement a comprehensive People strategy tailored to the unique needs of the European region while ensuring alignment with global functional goals and initiatives.
Collaborate with global People leaders and people team to integrate regional priorities into the overarching organizational strategy, fostering consistency and synergy across all geographical functions. Evaluate and adapt global People programmes to meet regional requirements, ensuring cultural and regulatory relevance. Champion initiatives that promote employee engagement, talent development, and the attraction and retention of diverse, top-tier talent within the competitive technology sector. Regularly review and refine the regional people strategy to address emerging trends, workforce expectations, and business objectives while ensuring alignment with the global people strategy. Point of escalation for all Employee relations cases for the region.
Leverage outputs of employee listening and engagement surveys to identify trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable, data-driven insights. Support leadership in decision-making processes through robust analysis and reporting. Lead and oversee People projects and initiatives across Europe, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise processes and implement strategic People programmes. Manage of the European People Operations team to ensure seamless execution of regional HR functions and initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle. Develop and execute communication plans for HR policies, procedures, and initiatives at all organizational levels.
Champion a culture of transparency and adaptability during periods of change. RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant HR certifications would also be preferable. Professional ExperienceTypically, 10-15+ years of HR experience across multiple HR disciplines, preferably within global and/or technology companies and high-growth environments. 5+ years of experience managing and leading teams effectively. Knowledge And SkillsDeep understanding of European HR laws, regulations, policies, and best practices. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex HR challenges.
