Role SummaryThe successful applicant for this position will join our Chassis electronics team and will be responsible for the design, development, releasing, integration and delivery of state-of-the-art chassis electronics systems, software and hardwareDimension Of FunctionChassis Electronics team is responsible for Traction Control Module, Stability Control, Steering, ABS systems, dampers, etc. Responsible of design, development of technical specification and requirements control, testing and integration for delivery on all Chassis modules.A position within the Chassis electronics team requires a highly motivated and hands-on team player with exceptional attention to detail, diligence, a positive attitude and the ability to communicate well. The fast-paced development provides a challenging environment suited to an engineer who can quickly develop skills in new areas and liaise with and drive other engineers within a multidisciplinary/global team. Area of ResponsibilityResponsibilities The Chassis Electronics team is responsible for the specification, test and delivery of all Chassis Electronics systems. Responsibilities will include management and direct delivery of Chassis electronics and system: Lead development and integration of Steer-by-Wire (SbW) or Brake-by-Wire (BbW) systems , with extensive experience in at least one domain and successful delivery of at least two production projects. Experience with Active suspension will be an added advantage Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system and component requirements for chassis functions (e.g., SbW, BbW, Active Suspension, ABS, ESC, TCS, EPS). Work closely with suppliers to manage software and hardware release plans, ensuring quality, cost, and timing targets are met. Cascade system requirements down to the component level and align with suppliers for design, testing, and software delivery. Coordinate with ADAS teams to define interface strategies for autonomous and assisted driving functions. Review chassis component design and validation plans, ensuring alignment with vehicle attribute teams. Support CAN and diagnostics development, including fault handling strategies and OBD compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve EE issues during development, testing, and production stages. Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262, ASIL-D) and relevant global regulations (e.g., FMVSS, ECE). Support FMEA, FTA, DFA, and technical safety concept development for chassis-by-wire systems. Monitor and track DV/PV validation status, software release timing, and integration milestones. Provide production support, including deviation management and plant-level troubleshooting.Requirements Expertise in either Steer-by-Wire or Brake-by-Wire — both areas are equally welcome. Experience with vehicle or HIL testing for chassis systems. Hands-on experience with CANoe, CANape, flashing tools, and diagnostic tools. Knowledge of ECU software development, embedded systems, and automotive communication protocols. Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety, OBD, and relevant regulations. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
