Private Residence, Gulshan is looking for Chef (Multi-Cuisine)Job Description / ResponsibilityJob BriefWe are seeking a skilled Chef to prepare exceptional multi-cuisine dishes for a private residence. You will craft delicious meals according to the preferences of resident members while ensuring taste, presentation, and timely delivery. From time to time, you may be required to undertake additional responsibilities as reasonably required.Main PurposeTo prepare and present a diverse range of high-quality dishes, ensuring excellence in taste, hygiene, and hospitality for resident members and their guests during formal events, family gatherings, and daily meals. You will manage grocery shopping, kitchen maintenance, and cleanliness while adhering to strict hygiene standards. Working closely with the Residence Supervisor, you will ensure smooth kitchen operations with minimal supervision.Roles and ResponsibilitiesA. Culinary ExpertisePrepare meals and menus featuring local and international dishes of the highest standard.Craft first-class dishes tailored to the specific preferences of residents.Maintain a deep understanding of residents’ culinary preferences, including likes and dislikes.Develop and update a comprehensive menu book for the residence.Ensure portion control and aesthetic presentation of all dishes.Conduct regular menu trials with a focus on seasonal ingredients.B. Hygiene and Kitchen MaintenanceMaintain impeccable standards of food preparation, handling, and storage.Ensure thorough kitchen cleanliness and adherence to hygiene regulations.Evaluate ingredients to maintain consistent quality.Monitor inventory levels and implement stock management practices.Promote a safe, functional, and organized kitchen environment.Apply health and safety standards through regular cleaning schedules.Minimize food and supply waste through effective controls.C. Grocery and Resource ManagementPlan and execute systematic shopping for residence groceries.Ensure menu planning and grocery procurement are conducted in advance.Maintain records of dietary preferences and event-specific recipes.Working PatternsExpertise in multi-cuisine cooking, including starters, main courses, and desserts.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Positive attitude toward receiving feedback and fostering teamwork.Educational RequirementsSSCSSC/Diploma in Food Preparation & Management from PARJATAN or a recognized institution;·Experience RequirementsAt least 10 year(s)Educational Requirements·Culinary school degree or certifications in HACCP or food safety are advantageous.Minimum Experience:10 years practical experience in private residences, catering, clubs, hotels, resorts, or restaurants.Additional Requirements:Proven experience with certification from a recognized authority.Strong kitchen management skills.Physical stamina and resilience under pressure.Problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.·Ability to read and follow menu books and technical instructions.Job LocationDhaka (Gulshan)
