ResponsibilitiesStudy and review the equipment and Design treatment processes in wastewater treatment plants. Be responsible for the water quality compliance for individual WWTP plant.Assist in maintaining proper maintenance and safety integrity of plant. Ensuring all equipment is in working condition with minimum downtime and regular servicing is carried out.Ensure all designated equipment calibrations and inspections are up to date.Work closely with PSM team and lab department on waste flow and waste treatment method.Assist in promoting WSH activities to operator(s).Assist in optimization of operation treatment, manpower allocation as well as continuous improvement on WWTP operation.Ensure the treated wastewater compliance with sewer discharge limit.Adhere to all safety requirements within the plant, such as safe work practices, SOP.RequirementsMinimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.Self-motivated; works effectively both independently and in a team to complete tasks.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in water treatment plant operations.Able to perform overtime / shift work.RemunerationBasic salary: $3,500 – $3,700Gross salary: $4,800 – $5,500Entitled to Overtime / Shift AllowanceWorking hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm); Saturday (8am – 12pm) / Shift Work (Day: 8am – 8pm, Night: 8pm – 8am)Company Transport / Transport Allowance ($120) if candidate manages own transportSign-on Bonus (Terms & Conditions apply)
