This role blends high-level personal and administrative support with the professional world of competitive chess. It suits someone who loves chess, understands its culture, and can operate confidently in a fast-paced UHNW environment.You will manage communication, logistics, research, and global coordination while engaging the Principal in informed and thoughtful chess discussions. The role demands precision, discretion, and a proactive mindset.Essential RequirementsStrong passion for chess with a FIDE ELO rating of 1500+.Proven personal assistant, administrative, or coordination experience.Experience supporting UHNW individuals or senior executives is preferred.Exceptional organisational ability with a meticulous eye for detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High discretion and professionalism in all interactions.Full readiness for international travel at short notice.Ability to handle multiple priorities calmly and effectively.Proactive, solutions-focused, and resourceful.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Principal’s primary contact for all chess-related matters.Manage communications, WhatsApp groups, and scheduling with professional players, coaches, clubs, and global chess organisations.Organise chess tournaments, events, and full travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, and itineraries.Accompany the Principal to international tournaments, ensuring seamless on-site coordination.Maintain structured records for chess activities, partnerships, and sponsorships.Track global chess news, tournaments, player rankings, and results, providing timely updates.Support strategic initiatives and engagement with global chess communities.Coordinate chess commitments with broader personal and business schedules.Who We Are Looking ForA genuine chess enthusiast with the confidence to engage at competitive and cultural levels.Someone comfortable delivering excellence in UHNW environments.Articulate, curious, and able to maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.Motivated by international travel, world-class events, and fast-moving environments.Digitally fluent and confident managing communication across multiple channels.Why This Role Is ExceptionalThis position offers rare access to the global chess world, including exposure to elite tournaments, leading players, and high-profile events.
