A renowned entertainment company is looking for a Chief Accountant. The selected candidate will oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance, manage teams, and drive continuous process improvement.Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and internal group guidelines Develop, implement, and communicate policies in line with headquarters' standards Drive process optimisation and efficiency across accounting and related functions Manage and develop the accounting team, ensuring clear roles, objectives, and performance appraisals Lead local accounting projects, including system implementations and upgrades Oversee accurate bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and timely period closings Ensure timely and accurate reporting to local authorities and internal stakeholders Support year-end audits, payroll processing, and effective tax managementRequirements: More than 5 years of relevant accounting experience Strong knowledge of Japan tax law, local GAAP, and IFRS Proficient in SAP FI, CO, COPA, BI; ideally HFM Possess a valid Certified Management Accountant or relevant accounting qualification Professional level Japanese ; fluent level written and verbal English■ 語学力英語のレベル： 流暢日本語のレベル： ビジネス会話
