Chief Accountant

Chief Accountant We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to oversee and manage all accounting operations within our retail business. The role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, cost control, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, budgets, forecasts).Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.Monitor cost of sales and ensure proper calculation of COGS.Supervise month-end and year-end closing, audits, and inventory counts.Maintain fixed assets register and oversee warehouse/branch accounting.Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and company policies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA/ACCA preferred).Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards.Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).Excellent organizational and communication skills.
