CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Descriere post:Sephora Romania is looking for a proactive and motivated Chief Accountant to join our team. In this key role, you will bring expertise, reliability, and a passion for driving success, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across all financial operations. By combining strong technical knowledge with a forward-looking approach, you will play an essential part in strengthening our financial foundation and supporting the company’s long-term growth.You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions: Organizes, improves and manages the overall accounting processes in the company - prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records and financial statements; Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations; Verify the accounting data according with legal requirements and internal procedures; Booking the documents in SAP per cost centers; Month end reconciliations (revenue, stocks, debtors, creditors, banks); Preparation of monthly financial statements (P/L, balance sheet); Cash-flow planning; Preparation and filing of annual and monthly financial reports required by legislation or company’s management; Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies; Interaction with France based headquarter; Ad hoc support to all departments within the company.        Descriere profil:Do not hesitate to apply if you have… or if you are … University degree in Economics and Finance; Experience on a similar position - at least 3 years; Experience in retail industry; Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting - knowledge of IFRS is an advantage; Very good knowledge regarding fiscal law and Romanian and European legislation; Excellent communication skills also in English, computer literate (very good knowledge of Excel); Good knowledge of an accounting software (preferable SAP) ; Good analysis skills, attention to details ensuring a high level of accuracy.
