Position OverviewAs the Chief Accountant at TRG, you take full ownership of our financial integrity, statutory compliance, and accounting governance. You serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and ensure that TRG’s accounting operations meet the highest professional, regulatory, and ethical standards.Your role is not only about ensuring accurate books — you guide policy, supervise accounting staff, optimize processes, and manage tax, audit, and compliance frameworks across the business. You will work closely with the Financial Controller, CEO, and internal teams to safeguard TRG’s financial health while supporting growth.Key ResponsibilitiesReview monthly tax declarations and year-end tax finalization.Work with tax advisors and authorities when needed to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks.Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.Oversee the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to ensure financial stabilityManage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and other financial transactions.Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, for internal and external stakeholders.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.Work closely with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support for financial audits. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work and professional development.Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, operations, and HR, to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.RequirementsEducation & CredentialsBachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing.Chief Accountant Certificate (Vietnam) – mandatory.International certifications (ACCA, CPA Australia, CIMA) are a strong plus.ExperienceAt least 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience.Minimum 3 years in a Chief Accountant or Senior Accounting Supervisor role.Experience in service, IT, or professional service industries preferred.Strong experience handling tax, audit, and compliance in Vietnam.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent knowledge of VAS and Vietnamese tax regulations.Strong English and Vietnamese communication skills; IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent preferred.High proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and ERP systems.Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.Leadership capability: coaching, delegation, and performance management.High integrity, confidentiality, and a strong sense of professional ethics.Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.What’s in It for You?Complimentary high-quality Arabica coffee and beverages from PJ’s Coffee.Modern, green, collaborative office space.16 paid days off per year + Christmas holidays.Full social insurance based on full salary from day one, including probation.Diverse, inclusive culture with global colleagues.Strong L&D ecosystem: training, certifications, events, coaching, mentoring.Direct coaching from TRG’s founder/CEO and experienced leaders.Recruitment processApply via the "Apply for this job" button on this job description --> Pre-hire assessments (received via email right after your application submission, please complete them within 3 days) --> HR call --> Final round
