Senior Accountant (Reporting, GL & Tax)

Adecco's Client - a leading global marketing and communications network agency in Vietnam - is looking for potential candidates to fill in the Senior Accountant (Reporting, GL & Tax) - 8 month contract (maternity cover) position. 📍 Work location: E-Town Central, 11 Doan Van Bo Street, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City🕐 Work hour: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Hybrid model is applicable)✨ Salary & benefits: 25M - 30M (Gross) + Allowance.Job's Description:1. General accountingReconciling and confirmation Intercompany AP, AR balances and transactions on monthly basisRecording cut-off entries for recurring personnel and G&A expenses, depreciation, amortization, financial exp/inc, taxes and statutory payables, …Maintaining Fixed asset registerPreparing and uploading monthly Actual reports into Hyperion (PL, BS, AR-AP, Revenue per client, Accrue rev, WIP…) as scheduledReconciling total invoicing amount (billing) vs. revenueBe responsible for reconciliation of Balance sheet and control accounts (bank, AR, AP,…) on monthly basisProviding accurate financial and management reports to Agency Finance teams ensuring that all month end deadlines are metEnsuring compliance with all Janus, FMC requirements and statutory financial controls including external/internal audit requirementsSupport the FM with liaison between the company and external/internal auditors, tax auditorMaintaining high quality, accurate and timely management and financial reporting Other Ad-hoc if required2. TaxPrepare VAT/ PIT/ WHT declarationReconciling btw GL and VAT/ WHT declaration monthlyEnsure all kinds of Tax submission accurately and timelyWorking with tax authorities on tax issues, tax audits and tax returns.Experience/Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Accountancy and/ or professional qualifications in Accounting3-5 years of relevant experience in similar position from foreign invested company/MNCExperience in advertising/media or similar industry will be an advantageExperience in a Multi-National or Global Organization is an advantageSolid knowledge and experience with local laws and tax regulationsStrong knowledge in local and international accounting standards Strong attention to detailFluency in English and proficient in MS office especially in MS ExcelExperience in the use of Hyperion, SAP, Oracle,..Team player with hands-on and meticulous; can deliver within deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communication skills.
