Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Management and Administration of Accounting Operations• Organize, assign, and supervise the tasks of accounting personnel within the department.• Control the recording, accounting, and storage of documents and accounting books in compliance with regulations.• Ensure that financial statements, management reports, and tax reports are prepared accurately and on schedule.• Regularly review and reconcile internal data and data with external parties (banks, partners, tax authorities, etc.).2. Corporate Financial Management• Prepare and monitor the company’s operating budget; control operating expenses across departments.• Analyze financial performance, cash flow, accounts receivable and payable; advise solutions to optimize cash flow.• Coordinate with the Business Division in revenue, cost, profit, and financial KPI planning.• Propose cost management tools and financial reporting systems to support VGCT’s growth strategies.3. Compliance and Internal Controls• Ensure compliance with legal regulations related to accounting, taxation, insurance, and financial contracts.• Coordinate with the Legal Department to control risks and review financial terms in contracts.• Develop, update, and implement internal control procedures to minimize losses and financial risks.4. Reporting and Advisory to the Executive Board• Provide periodic reports: monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget variance analyses.• Advise the General Director on capital mobilization, investment options, cost management, and financial efficiency strategies.• Support Board of Directors and Science Council meetings when financial or budget-related matters arise.REQUIREMENTS:• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, or Corporate Finance.• Experience: Minimum 5 years in finance and accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial or deputy managerial position.• Professional Knowledge:o Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and current tax regulations.o Financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, and cost control.• Skills:o Leadership and staff coaching.o Financial data analysis and synthesis.o Communication, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.• Preferred: Experience working in technology companies, research & development environments, or multi-industry corporations.
