Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site/hybrid role for a Chief Business Development Officer located in Limassol. The candidate will be responsible for the strategic development of the business, including identifying and executing new growth opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and managing key B2B and B2G channels. The core focus is on driving revenue and scaling the company's market presence.Responsibilities & Key TasksStrategic Partnerships & Sales Development: Securing exclusive contracts with major corporations (B2B) and government entities (B2G), including high-level negotiations with C-level executives, ministers, and officials.Product Integration & Development: Leading the integration of product solutions into partner platforms (e.g., mobile apps, widgets) to create new monetization channels.Building & Scaling Partner Networks: Expanding the partner base through direct sales, cold-outreach campaigns (cold-email), and other digital lead-generation channels.Analytics & CustDev: Conducting market research and customer development interviews (CustDev) to identify product pain points, formulate growth hypotheses, and improve conversion rates.Optimization of Commercial Processes: Structuring and optimizing sales teams, scripts, and lead generation processes to significantly improve key performance indicators (KPIs).Management & Leadership: Overseeing projects, launching and developing new business lines (e.g., training departments, agent networks), and managing cross-functional teams.Qualifications & RequirementsProven Experience in Business Development & Sales: Minimum of 8 years in B2B/B2G sales and commerce, with a documented history of closing deals worth millions (USD/EUR/RUB).Strategic Planning Skills: Ability to see the product as a whole and to develop and implement long-term growth strategies.Financial Acumen: Skills in managing financial plans, P&L, and forecasting project profitability.Strong Leadership & Management Abilities: Hands-on experience in restructuring and managing commercial departments, including team rotation and hiring.Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Natural ability to build rapport, negotiate at all levels, and act as a public speaker at industry events.Results-Driven & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Aptitude for finding non-obvious solutions and achieving set goals in ambiguous environments.Willingness to work on-site and travel for business as needed.English language proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher.A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
