Company Profile:We are delighted to assist our client, a prominent international financial group, in their search for a Chief Compliance Officer.Based in Luxembourg’s city centre, the organisation oversees a broad range of fund activities within a collaborative and multicultural environment. As a key member of the leadership team, the Chief Compliance Officer will be entrusted with safeguarding the firm’s regulatory integrity, maintaining a robust compliance framework, and ensuring adherence to Luxembourg’s evolving legal landscape.If you are an accomplished compliance leader, with solid experience in a ManCo and with the ability to strategically steer the function and manage end-to-end responsibilities, this opportunity could be an excellent fit.Role:Act as Compliance Officer and RC for the ManCo management company and its associated fund structures.Oversee the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the compliance governance framework.Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documentation and reports to the competent Supervisory Authorities.Monitor delegated activities, ensuring effective oversight of third parties, particularly in areas such as distribution, transfer agency, and portfolio management.Advise and report to the Conducting Officer responsible for Legal & Compliance.Provide guidance to the Management Committee and Board of Directors on compliance matters and regulatory expectations.Drive the implementation of new regulations and ensure timely updates of internal policies and procedures.Lead and mentor a small, experienced compliance team, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.Profile:At least 10 years of relevant experience within a Luxembourg fund management company.Solid command of the Luxembourg regulatory framework, with proven experience in applying and integrating new regulations.Strong understanding of the investment funds sector, in particular AIFs and private equity/real estate structures.Demonstrated project management capabilities, with a track record of handling complex regulatory initiatives.Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); additional languages such as French, German, or Portuguese are considered advantageous.Strong interpersonal skills, displaying leadership, collaborative spirit, and positive energy.Unwavering commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional excellence.
