Position Title: Chief Culture & Strategy OfficerOrganization: Ripple 2 Wave FoundationLocation: Dependent on City/State (in-person events with virtual meetings)Status: Volunteer (3-5 hours/week)About Ripple 2 Wave Foundation:Ripple 2 Wave Foundation is a purpose-driven nonprofit organization committed to makingmeaningful impact across communities. Through a diverse portfolio of outreach programs—including youth empowerment, environmental projects, senior and veteran support, animaladvocacy, and homelessness outreach—we strive to transform compassion into measurablechange.Position Summary:The Chief Culture & Strategy Officer (CCSO) is a vital member of the executive leadership team,responsible for cultivating a thriving organizational culture while steering strategic direction.This role blends people-centered leadership with business strategy to ensure that Ripple 2 WaveFoundation grows sustainably, operates effectively, and continues to make lasting impact in thecommunity.The CCSO will be the architect of a positive, mission-driven culture—one that empowersvolunteers, staff, and partners to collaborate, innovate, and lead. At the same time, this leaderwill design and implement cultural strategies that position the organization for long-termsuccess and scalability.Culture Development & Oversight:Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, respect, and belonging.Develop and implement engagement strategies that boost morale, commitment, andretention across staff and volunteers.Mentor and cultivate leadership pathways for emerging leaders, ensuring futureorganizational strength.Oversee Volunteer Supervisor.Strategic Planning & Organizational Growth:Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of volunteers.Collaborate with the Executive Director to design and execute short and long-term culturalstrategic initiatives.Implement and monitor organizational onboarding for new volunteers, recommendingimprovements to strengthen and grow volunteer retention.Build systems and structures that promote accountability, performance, and clearcommunication with volunteers.Qualifications:Significant leadership experience in nonprofit, business, or mission-driven organizations.Expertise in culture-building, people leadership, and business strategy.Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational abilities.Proven success in scaling teams and programs while preserving organizational culture.Skilled in strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.Deep alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Ripple 2 Wave Foundation.Personal Attributes:Servant-leader with a passion for people and culture.Strategic and innovative thinker who can see both big picture and details.Collaborative, empathetic, and adaptable communicator.Values-driven leader with a commitment to community impact and organizational growth.Why Join Us?At Ripple 2 Wave Foundation, we believe small acts of compassion can lead to powerful waves ofchange.
