The OpportunityAs CEO you will lead one of Australia's most innovative energy utilities through significant transformation, navigating the intersection of decarbonisation, decentralisation, and digitisation while ensuring energy remains affordable and accessible.You will be charged with the delivery of safe and reliable power across multiple power systems tailored to meet the unique needs of some of the most isolated and remote communities in the world. This includes the North West Interconnected System (NWIS) in the Pilbara; a connected network covering three interconnected systems in Kununurra, Wyndham and Lake Argyle; more than 30 microgrids; and standalone power systems that sustainably service end-of-grid customers. Working closely with key stakeholders you will position Horizon Power's evolving role in the Pilbara Energy Transition which presents significant opportunity for the business to act as a regional catalyst and support the State’s decarbonisation and economic diversification aspirations. This role demands a change agent who thrives on complexity and delivers at pace, managing diverse stakeholders, leading through uncertainty, and balancing commercial imperatives with social purpose.
