Working closely with businesses, government, and partners, the CEO champions innovation, sustainability, and sector-wide collaboration.Key PrioritiesCatalyze Growth: Accelerate speed-to-market, enhance programming, and develop lead generation strategies for food businesses.Navigate the Future of Food: Inspire innovation, champion sustainability, build global partnerships, and support industry adoption of emerging practices.Amplify Our Global Voice: Lead brand and marketing strategies for Food Island Partnership and its managed brands; foster collaboration and steward strategic brand assets.Core ResponsibilitiesAdvise and support the Board in strategic planning and governance.Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).Oversee risk management, accountability, and transparency.Secure and manage resources for strategic projects and programs.Advocate for and represent FIP and PEI’s food industry.Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to ensure organizational agility.Build and maintain relationships with government, industry, funders, and community partners.Recruit, develop, and retain top talent; oversee succession planning and promote professional development.Desired OutcomesGrowth and success of local food and beverage businesses.Adoption of sustainable practices and long-term industry resilience.International recognition of PEI as a premium food destination.Strengthened global presence and stakeholder collaboration.QualificationsSenior leadership experience in the food, beverage, or economic development sectors.Proven success in leading strategic initiatives.Strong stakeholder engagement and advocacy capabilities.Proficiency in governance, financial oversight, and resource management.Ability to anticipate industry shifts and adapt strategies accordingly.An advanced degree or relevant certifications are considered assets.Application Deadline 🗓 October 25, 2025Please Note:Only applications submitted through the Indeed link above will be considered.
