Your Mission at Playtomic:Playtomic is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This is a critical role for an individual who thrives in a high-growth, technology-driven environment and possesses a deep understanding of financial operations, strategic planning, and M&A. The CFO will be instrumental in guiding Playtomic through its next phase of expansion, ensuring financial health, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.What You’ll Be Doing:As our CFO, you will be at the helm of our financial strategy, directing our efforts towards sustained success. You will lead a team of enthusiastic finance professionals, empowering them to excel and contribute significantly to Playtomic's ambitious goals. Your role will involve overseeing all financial aspects of the company, with a strong emphasis on:Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a financial strategy that drives global growth, including expansion into new markets and M&A activities.Financial Operations & Reporting: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.Operational Efficiency: Implement and improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and support our expanding operations worldwideCapital Management: Lead fundraising rounds and manage relationships with investors to ensure the company has the capital needed for sustainable growth.Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company complies with all relevant international financial regulations and tax laws.Business Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and other executives, providing financial insights to inform key business decisions and new initiatives.Our Ideal “Player”:We are looking for a seasoned financial leader who possesses:15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5-7 years in a CFO or VP Finance role within a high-growth technology, SaaS, or digital company.Proven expertise in Controlling and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with a strong track record of implementing robust financial controls, efficient budgeting processes, and accurate forecasting models.Extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), including deal sourcing, comprehensive due diligence, valuation, negotiation support, and successful post-merger integration.Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence within the finance function and across the broader organization.Significant experience in an international business environment with multiple legal entities and diverse regulatory landscapes.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for strategic decision-making.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and an unwavering commitment to best financial practices.Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is a significant plus.Location: Madrid, SpainWhat Do We Offer?At Playtomic, we believe in supporting our team members to thrive both professionally and personally: Competitive salary and benefitsStock Options Plan: Opportunity to have a stake in Playtomic's success.Flexible Working Environment: We support a work-life balance that suits your needs.International Team: Be part of a diverse and continuously expanding global team.Generous Vacation: 23 days of vacation per year + public holidays.+2 wellness days per year+1 Birthday offOur Hiring Process:We believe in a transparent and engaging hiring journey.
