The Executive Mandate: Capital, Compliance, and Commercial StrategyThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a Mandatory KSA National and a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for driving the financial strategy, capital structure, and funding roadmap necessary for rapid, compliant scale across the GCC. The CFO will be the primary steward of corporate governance, ensuring all financial operations comply strictly with SAMA, ZATCA (Tax/Zakat), and IFRS standards. This role is the commercial partner to the CEO, translating the vision for next-gen credit intelligence into a robust, investable, and profitable financial reality.Key Areas of Accountability1. Strategic Financial Planning & FundraisingCapital Structure & Funding Roadmap: Design and execute the company's long-term financial strategy, including optimizing capital structure (equity, debt, corporate lending, securitization) to fuel the credit portfolio growth.Investor Relations (IR): Lead all fundraising activities (Seed, Series A, B, etc.) and manage relationships with local and international investors, banks, and lenders. Prepare detailed financial models, pitch decks, and due diligence materials for capital rounds.Portfolio P&L and Viability: Oversee financial modelling and forecasting for the credit portfolio, ensuring underwriting strategies (led by Credit Risk) translate into sustainable, profitable returns on capital (Return on Equity/Assets).IPO Readiness: Develop the financial infrastructure, corporate governance, and reporting transparency required for potential future public listing on the Tadawul (or other relevant exchanges).2. Financial Control, Governance, and Regulatory ReportingSAMA Financial Compliance: Act as the ultimate authority for all SAMA-mandated financial reporting, including liquidity, capital adequacy (if applicable to the license), and segregation of client/e-money funds (if applicable).Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to IFRS for financial reporting and ZATCA regulations for VAT, Corporate Tax, and Zakat filings.Internal Controls and Treasury: Establish and enforce robust internal financial controls, manage the central treasury function, optimize working capital, and oversee daily cash flow management and forecasting.Accounting Operations: Lead the entire finance department, overseeing the preparation of timely, accurate, and consolidated financial statements and managing all external audit processes.3. Commercial Strategy and Growth EnablementPerformance Management (FP&A): Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to provide executive-level commercial insights. Challenge business unit leaders on budget, cost efficiency, and ROI of new products (like the alternative data model).Credit Model Economics: Partner with the Product and Credit Risk teams to define and monitor the core unit economics of the lending products (e.g., Cost of Acquisition, Lifetime Value of a Borrower, Loss Rates, and Yield).Technology Integration: Oversee the selection and implementation of the company’s core ERP and financial systems, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with the data and credit intelligence platforms.Ideal Candidate Profile: The Executive Talent FishExperience & ExpertiseNationality: KSA National is mandatory.Experience: Minimum 12-15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (CFO, VP of Finance, or Group Head of Finance) within the Financial Services or Fintech sector.KSA Fintech Ecosystem: Deep, demonstrable knowledge of the KSA Fintech ecosystem, including successful experience in dealing with SAMA, CMA, and ZATCA regulations and filing requirements. Experience with the SAMA Regulatory Sandbox or obtaining a full license is highly valued.Fintech & Credit Experience: Proven ability to manage the financial complexities of a high-growth, credit/lending platform, including balance sheet management, portfolio provisioning, and managing a credit-based P&L.Fundraising Track Record: A documented history of successfully raising capital (equity and/or debt) in the GCC market.Leadership & CompetenciesSAMA-Fit & Proper: Must meet all "Fit and Proper" requirements for a Senior Position as stipulated by SAMA.Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, strategic business recommendations for the CEO and Board.Certification: Holds a relevant advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance) and a prestigious professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CMA).Bilingual: Fluency in both Arabic (essential for local regulatory dealings and Board communication) and English(essential for international investors and reporting).
