CAP3 is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior executive. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic advisor to our clients, providing high-level financial leadership, analysis, and guidance. This role serves multiple client organizations—acting as their outsourced CFO—to deliver insight-driven financial management, strengthen financial operations, and support business growth and sustainability. The CFO works closely with CAP3|Reveal team, and client leadership teams to interpret financial data, drive strategic planning, and ensure informed decision-making across all financial matters.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Serve as the fractional CFO for a portfolio of clients across various industries.Responsible for the management of financial reporting, presentation of performance dashboards, and supplemental reporting. Review and validate financial work prepared by internal team members. Interpret financial statements to understand and communicate opportunities and threats to the client. Partner with CAP3|Reveal team members to ensure the highest level of client service delivery.Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements to drive profitability, efficiency, and successful accomplishment of client business objectives.Communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Maintain and improve client financial health through proactive management of liquidity, debt, and margin.Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting processes for clients.Support capital planning, financing activities, and major investment decisions.Lead regular client communication meetings.Proactively counsel clients on how to strategically manage cash, inventory, other assets, debt, and profitability.Collaborate with other CAP3|Reveal CFOs to engage in receiving and providing additional perspective and insight related to how to best support each client’s success.Lead financial strategy development, forecasting, and scenario planning for each client.Proactively counsel clients on organizational and operational management and processes.Work with clients to understand their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.Assist clients in identifying short and long-term goals and develop strategic planning to help clients achieve those short- and long-term goals.Build trusted, long-term relationships with client executives.Establish and develop relationships with external partners and other stakeholders that can benefit the client’s current and long-term business and financial planning.Our Core Values - The CAP3 EDGE Empowerment - Unleashing PotentialWe enable people to achieve more than they imagined possible.Diligence - Precision with PurposeWe take ownership of our work and deliver with discipline and excellence.Generosity - Above and BeyondWe give more than expected in every interaction—with our clients and each other.Excellence - Setting the StandardWe push for world-class results that make a real impact.Required Skills/Abilities:Experience With QuickBooks Online Or Other Accounting PlatformsProficient with Microsoft ExcelExperience managing/supervising staff and reviewing their work/issuing feedbackExperience overseeing payroll policiesExperience preparing and analyzing financial statements and variance reportsAbility to adapt to new technologyStrong attention-to-detailProfessional organizational and communication skillsComfortable communicating and presenting to clients and other professionalsDiscretion, integrity, high ethical standardWelcoming of feedback/coachableCommitted to ongoing personal and professional growthMulti-taskerPositive attitudeFlexible, able to prioritize and manage time wellDesire to serve and deliver exceptional client servicePreferred Skills/Abilities:Comfortable with Microsoft Teams and various other web-based applicationsEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s or higher degree in accounting, or related field, required.Ten Years Of Relevant Experience Required.Management accounting experience required.CPA License preferred.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.Ready to Lead With Impact?If you’re a strategic finance leader who enjoys helping businesses grow and succeed—and you want to do meaningful work in a collaborative, people-first company—we’d love to meet you!Apply today to join CAP3 as our next CFO.
