Chief Financial Officer

The CompanyGlobe 24-7 in partnership with a key mining client are working together to source experienced and qualified CFO for their office in Germany.The ResponsibilitiesLead financial strategy to support growth, profitability, and industrial competitiveness.Advise the CEO and Executive Committee on investments, capital allocation, and corporate development initiatives.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and performance improvement programs.Implement cost optimization and productivity initiatives across production and supply chain operations.Translate financial data into actionable operational and strategic insights.Enhance reporting, consolidation, and analytics processes using tools such as HFM/Hyperion, ERP systems, and BI platforms.Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.The RequirementsDegree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or holder of the German Wirtschaftsprüfer certification.Strong foundation in audit and financial reporting, paired with strategic and analytical capabilities.Proven track record in senior finance roles with increasing responsibility, combining financial expertise with technical acumen.Experience with ERP systems (preferably S/4 HANA), BI tools (Power BI), and HFM/Hyperion is highly desirable.Decisive, pragmatic, and execution-oriented mindset.Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.Ability to provide clear guidance during transitional periods and organizational change.Strong commitment to ethical standards and supportive, exemplary leadership.LanguagesFluent German (written and spoken).Advanced proficiency in English to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.The RewardsThe position offers a competitive remuneration package.Contact UsPlease apply directly by submitting your resume, preferably as a Microsoft Word document.
