Graystone Group is partnering with a high-growth cybersecurity client with services delivered federal and commercial markets. We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead the company’s financial strategy, governance, and performance in support of continued global expansion.The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, accountable for financial strategy, enterprise risk management, and operational execution across a complex, multi-jurisdictional business. This role requires a proven finance leader with experience in a publicly traded company, a strong track record of building scalable systems, and the ability to drive strategic insights that enable sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipPartner with the CEO and executive team to shape and execute the company’s long-term enterprise strategy.Lead financial planning and strategic analysis, ensuring leadership has clear visibility into business drivers, risks, and opportunities.Drive M&A activity, including due diligence, financial modeling, integration, and post-transaction performance tracking.Oversee capital structure, liquidity, and balance sheet management to align with growth and business strategy.Guide enterprise risk management strategy and support the Audit, Risk & Finance Committee of the Board.Represent the company with key stakeholders including the Audit Committee, lenders, auditors, regulators, and investors.Financial & Operational ManagementDirect all aspects of accounting, audit, fiscal management, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.Provide leadership for quarterly and annual financial reporting, including earnings announcements and disclosure processes.Enhance policies, procedures, and financial systems to ensure scalability, compliance, and efficiency.Lead cash flow forecasting, budget management, and financial performance reporting to support informed decision-making.Manage foreign exchange considerations within a global operating environment.Monitor key performance metrics and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.Foster a high-performance global finance team, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.QualificationsCPA designation required10+ years of senior financial leadership experience2+ with a publicly traded company, ideally within the international technology, cybersecurity, or defense sector.Deep understanding of finance, contract law, and regulatory frameworks (IFRS required; U.S. GAAP knowledge an asset).Demonstrated success in enterprise-wide change management within complex, global organizations.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into business strategy.Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups.High degree of integrity, transparency, and professionalism.Superior written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate complex information to varied audiences.
