Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of a AIFs company based in Luxembourg. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will work closely with the CEO to shape and execute the company’s strategic vision, drive financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the CEO on strategic planning, capital allocation, and growth initiatives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making at the executive and board levels.

Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis for new investment opportunities and strategic projects. Lead, mentor and recruit for a team of 5 people. Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP and applicable AIFMD regulations. Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial stakeholders. Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team of approximately five professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development. Ensure full compliance with AIFMD and other relevant regulatory frameworks.

Monitor and manage financial risks, including liquidity, market, and operational risks. Liaise with CSSF and other regulatory bodies as needed. Drive process improvements and automation across finance functions. Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems. QualificationsProven experience as CFO or senior finance leader within the AIF, private equity, or asset management sectors. Strong understanding of Luxembourg regulatory environment, including AIFMD. Demonstrated strategic acumen and ability to influence at the executive level. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Professional accounting qualification (e. g. , ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred. Fluent in English and German. French is a plus
