CISOaaS Consultant📍 Brussels, BelgiumWe are looking for a CISOaaS Consultant to support one of our clients in the banking sector in strengthening cybersecurity governance and improving the security risk posture of its subsidiaries. The consultant will contribute to defining cybersecurity strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting security governance across multiple entities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and communicate the organization’s cybersecurity risk posture and raise awareness across business and IT stakeholders.Support subsidiaries in developing and implementing multi-year cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps aligned with EU regulatory requirements and group standards.Provide expert advice on cybersecurity risks, investment priorities, and security governance.Translate complex security requirements into pragmatic remediation plans and actionable security initiatives.Monitor and follow up remediation actions, track progress, and ensure effective resolution of security gaps.Facilitate collaboration between internal teams, subsidiaries, and third-party providers to ensure alignment on security initiatives.Prepare concise reports and strategic deliverables for senior management, ensuring clear communication of security risks and progress.Support cybersecurity governance, risk assessment, and compliance activities across multiple entities.Experience RequiredProven experience designing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity programs in complex or regulated environments.Strong knowledge of EU cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, including DORA, NIS2, and financial sector regulatory expectations.Experience with international security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.Hands-on understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure), Identity & Access Management (IAM), SIEM/EDR technologies, network security, and vulnerability management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex regulatory or security challenges into practical solutions.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex cybersecurity topics to technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, or cloud security certifications are considered a plus.Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.Languages: Fluent English (mandatory); French and Dutch are required.
