Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Location: Azerlotereya ASC – Baku, Azerbaijan (On-site) Seniority Level: Executive (C-Level)Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of a cohesive marketing strategy across channels that aligns with Company’s corporate vision and business objectives.Own the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for new product launches in both Lottery and Betting verticals, ensuring comprehensive campaign planning and execution across all channels.Drive product ownership across marketing, channels and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and market readiness.Act as a strategic advisor to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), regularly communicating marketing goals and insights, and adapting strategies based on market realities.Oversee all branding, communication, and customer engagement initiatives to strengthen brand equity and market share.Utilize data-driven insights to steer strategic decisions and optimize marketing performance; ensure consistent monitoring of ROI and marketing KPIs.Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring high-impact use of resources and cost-efficiency.Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional marketing team, fostering innovation, ownership, and collaboration.Address time and prioritization challenges, ensuring critical initiatives receive appropriate focus and follow-through.Promote flexibility and adaptive thinking within the team to respond effectively to market shifts and evolving business needs.Engage with external agencies, strategic partners, and regulatory bodies to enhance company's brand profile both locally and internationally.Follow up global practices and products, identify emerging market trends and ensure Azerlotereya is positioned to capitalize on new growth opportunities.Serve as a public-facing brand ambassador at industry events, media briefings, and stakeholder forums.Develop and lead market research, define customer segments, generate and position the products and services as well as communication strategy accordingly Define Corporate Social Responsibility policies and procedures, implement and execute effectively Define and lead trade marketing activities and KPIs for a variety of channels inline with corporate marketing and communication strategy Requirements:Minimum 10 years of senior marketing leadership (proven experience as Chief Marketing Officer ) experience, preferably within the gaming, entertainment, FMCG, or tech sectors.Demonstrable experience in developing products and efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.) Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methodsProven success in building brand equity, launching digital campaigns, and delivering business growth through marketing innovation.Deep understanding of omni-channel strategy, customer segmentation, digital performance metrics, and consumer psychology.Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire teams, get things done and influence at all organizational levels.Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.Understanding of different business disciplines (Operation, IT, Finance etc.)A leader with both creative and analytical capabilitiesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
