Chief Operating Officer

Our client is a leading privately-owned Australian business in the solar and renewable energy sector, headquartered in Sydney. With over fifteen years of industry experience and more than seven hundred projects completed annually, the company is renowned for its premium products, in-house electrical teams, and exceptional customer service. The business culture is grounded in quality values, integrity, and a commitment to delivering on promises, with a strong focus on scaling operations and expanding its service offering.The Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for leading and overseeing all operational processes, including installation, supply chain, quality assurance, after-sales services, and operational support. This senior leadership role is critical in shaping the operational backbone of the business, ensuring systems and procedures are efficient and scalable, and embedding operational excellence as the company grows.The ideal candidate will have proven senior operations leadership experience within high-volume, contract installation, support, and maintenance sectors. A strong track record in managing operational scale-up, multi-site operations, inventory management, supply chain logistics, and customer service is essential, along with commercial acumen, process improvement expertise, and excellent stakeholder management skills. Experience in high-growth businesses, M&A execution, and strategy development will be highly regarded.This is a full-time position based in Sydney.
