Bridging the gap between business and product development ensuring that technology investments support and drive business outcomesArchitecture Roadmap: Collaboratively creates the vision, evolution and communicates the VCS software architectural strategy and technical/technological roadmap. Anchors and drives the architecture roadmap into everyday operationsStrategic Planning: Work with leadership teams to translate business strategies into actionable value-driven business and VCS product capabilitiesTransformation Management: Support business transformation efforts by providing insights and guidance into how architecture changes will impact the sales, development, and delivery organization from an architectural perspectiveProcess Improvement: Analyse, design, and improve business, development, and delivery processes to enhance efficiency and agility in development and deliveryPerformance Measurement: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure architecting process and capability effectivenessKey QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus10-15 years' experience as IT architect in a safety critical or similar environmentStrong understanding of modern IT communication technologies and its challengesProven ability to analyse and design architectural processes and capabilitiesCritical Thinker and problem-solving skills combined with great interpersonal communication skillsExcellent English language and presentation skills; additional language skills are a plusStrong team player, having an intercultural mind set, paired with international travel willingnessOur ValuesAround 2,500 employees are committed to creating a safer world with their innovative strength and technology orientation.
