Our platform operates in close collaboration with one of the largest centralized exchanges globally, leveraging world-class expertise and technology to drive the next stage of our growth.The RoleAs CTO, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for the design, security, and scalability of our proprietary trading systems. You will define our technology vision, ensure regulatory and cybersecurity compliance, and lead a high-performing engineering organisation powering our expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the technology and architecture strategy across derivatives and spot trading.Integrate core systems and external partners (eKYC, AML/CFT, blockchain analytics, wallet management, etc.).Ensure compliance with Japanese financial and security standards (FSA, JVCEA, FISC).Oversee wallet infrastructure (cold/hot, multi-signature) and AML-aligned operations.Build and scale engineering teams; manage vendors and delivery quality.Align technology with corporate, compliance, and strategic goals alongside the CEO and executive team.Represent technology initiatives to shareholders, regulators, and auditors.RequirementsProven leadership as CTO, CIO, Head of Engineering, or System Architect in a financial or crypto institution.Strong experience in system design, development, and operations for regulated platforms.Expertise in blockchain, wallet management, and cybersecurity.Understanding of Payment Services Act, FIEA, JVCEA rules, and FISC standards.Experience leading 0→1 product development in fast-growth or startup environments.Fluent Japanese (essential) and business-level English.Nice to HaveExperience launching crypto-asset exchange systems.Direct collaboration with FSA or JVCEA on technology reviews.Experience working with overseas shareholders or partners.Ideal CandidateYou balance innovation with regulatory rigor a hands-on technical leader who can scale systems, teams, and ideas with equal confidence.Apply Now to be considered!!
