About the CompanyNeuraVia, Inc. is a Delaware C-corp company developing AI solutions for neurological healthcare and planning to sell these solutions in Nigeria and India upon Advarra REB approval in the U.S and Canada. We are currently seeking a committed and experienced ML engineer to lead the building, training, and deployment of a predictive progression model for Alzheimer's Disease. A baseline version of the model has already been prepared; however, training and deployment must be commenced.Responsibilities- Lead and manage NeuraVia’s Computation team interns in the construction of this model- Understand how to create and manage a dataset efficiently to ensure the proper training of the model- Prepare, draft, and submit papers detailing the construction, and training of this model.- Ensure the model has an accuracy level of at least 90% (through the usage of various evaluation metrics)- Ensure that state of the art encryption methods are in place to ensure the safe transfer of data across pipelines- Understand how to maintain a model's accuracy even as it is being deployedQualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or Machine Learning with focus or proven experience in deep reinforcement learning and deep learning- Experienced in the construction of research papers on the development of this model- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams for computationally related tasks- Familiarity with data encryption and its integration with data transfer pipelines- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex machine learning procedures into actionable steps for the team.- Experience in creating Deep Reinforcement Learning environments from large sets of synthetically generated data- Ability to construct computationally efficient deep learning architectures and train such models through the utilization of data via either supervised learning or ReinforcementLearning- Ability to evaluate the performance of the model via various standard evaluation metrics (AUC-ROC, Sensitivity, Specificity, etc.)- Ability to manage a deployed model via AWS (Cloudwatch for metrics, ELB for traffic regulation, periodic retraining of the model via data in S3 buckets, etc.)- Ability to create data encryption pipelines that allow for the secure transfer of dataPreferred SkillsHave some previous experience with medical AI and understand the integration of an AI model into hospitals' EHR systems via FHIR APIs (and, thus, how to construct FHIR APIs and manage via AWS Healthlake)Compensation Structure:- Pre-Revenue Stage: Volunteer basis — no immediate financial compensation during the initial phase.- Post-Revenue Stage: Transition to full executive compensation, including salary and equity options, negotiable based on company growth and contribution.Equal Opportunity StatementNeuraVia, Inc. is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
