The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 1 is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments, trade transactions, and wholesale card activity. Responsibilities: Process a range of trade operations products, such as bank guarantee issuances and payment, letters of credits, and loans transactions. Prepare daily reports to ensure transactions and documentation received were duly processed.
Prepare monthly regulatory reports such as ITBMS, funds transfers (TR01),Scanning, sending, receiving and separation of all correspondence / documents of the clients, file documentation, handling sensitive documentation.
Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvementsEvaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedentAnticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendorsContribute to and collaborate with trade operations projects as neededDevelop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectivesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications: 1-3 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated basic experience in transaction services Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills, preferably advance knowledge in excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc. ). Excellent communication and writing skills (English & Spanish)Customer services SkillsBackoffice experienceexperience in trade products (guarantees, loans, letters of credit)Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
