We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our fast-paced Advertising team. This role is responsible for nurturing client relationships, driving growth across accounts, and showcasing compelling stories backed by actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will also serve as a consultative partner to clients - fluent in the language of ad tech - and play a key role in maximizing campaign impact and revenue performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Strategy & GrowthAct as the trusted lead for assigned accounts, owning strategy, relationship development, and lifecycle planning - from pre-sales proposals through onboarding to business reviewsUncover client goals and deliver tailored campaign strategies and optimizations that build long-term value and retentionCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities that grow revenue within existing accountsAnalysis & StorytellingSynthesize campaign data into clear, client-ready narratives that link performance to business outcomesCraft impactful decks that weave insights, optimizations, and strategic recommendationsLeverage tools like brand lift studies and audience analytics, interpreting results and building stories that clients can use to inform broader strategyAd Tech FluencyBring a strong, working knowledge of DSPs (The Trade Desk, Viant, etc.
) and SSPs (Xandr, Index Exchange, etc.
) to client conversationsTranslate technical concepts, such as bidding strategies, targeting, and pixel implementation, into value-focused dialogueTroubleshoot basic delivery issues and collaborate with Trading, Engineering, and Product teams when escalation is neededCollaboration & SupportPartner with internal sales, engineering, and data teams to ensure smooth execution and ongoing innovationSurface client feedback to shape go-to-market offerings and influence product roadmapContribute to scalable resources, including upsell templates, case studies, and best-practice materialsQualifications & Experience6+ years in account management within the advertising or ad tech industry, including both brand-direct and agency-side experienceProven track record of client growth, retention, and consultative upsellingStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and measurement study resultsExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and tell compelling storiesSuperior organizational and time management skills to work in a remote, fast-paced environmentProficiency in Google Workspace products, HubSpot, Salesforce, and other ad techExperience with research tools, brand studies, and ad measurement platforms, a plusBenefits & ExpectationsJoin a company that values innovation and creativity that's working with cutting-edge ad tech, influencing major business decisions, shaping the future of advertising, and making a real-world impact.
