We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment and encourage talented individuals from all backgrounds to apply.Role ObjectiveTo establish and implement a structured and effective Quality Management System (QMS) that enhances coordination among project personnel, ensures compliance with contract requirements, and achieves high-quality standards and client satisfaction.The role is responsible for promoting and enforcing the company’s Quality Policy across all project levels, fostering a strong quality-driven culture on site.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesReview contract documents, project specifications, and quality-related requirements; coordinate with QA Engineers/Officers to prepare the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and secure consultant/client approvals.Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management System documentation, including Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Quality procedures, and checklistsReview material and technical submittals to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, applicable standards, and industry best practices; follow up for consultant/client approval.Conduct and participate in site Quality Control inspections covering: Ongoing civil works, Workmanship, Incoming materialsInspect and audit subcontractors’ works, materials, equipment, and fabrication activities both on-site and off-site to ensure compliance with approved specifications.Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring: Root cause analysis is conducted, Corrective and preventive actions are implemented, Proper tracking and timely closureIssue and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Action Requests (CPARs) and ensure effective resolution.Maintain QA/QC logs, trackers, and calibration registers for testing and measuring equipment.Ensure inspection and approval of quality samples and mock-ups in accordance with project specifications, maintaining full traceability for future reference.Attend and conduct project quality meetings with subcontractors and construction teams to integrate quality requirements into work execution plans.Coordinate with approved laboratories to verify proper material testing and ensure all measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and fit for purpose.Support the QHSE Manager during internal and external audits and ensure site readiness for audits.Prepare and submit weekly and monthly QA/QC reports highlighting project quality performance, NCR status, inspections, and testing activities.Maintain comprehensive archives of quality records including Concrete pouring records, Cube testing and curing logs, Inspection requests (IRs), Calibration certificates, Laboratory test reportsEnsure all project quality records are properly identified, stored, retrievable, and protected from damage or loss; provide guidance to document control personnel as needed.Conduct regular quality awareness sessions and technical training for project staff and contractor personnel to reinforce quality standards.Perform snagging and pre-handover inspections during the project close-out phase and ensure timely rectification of identified defects.Assist in preparing project handover documentation and final QA/QC dossiers under the supervision of the QA/QC Manager.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC within civil construction.Experience in EPC industrial and commercial facility projects (warehouses, plants, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, etc.).Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Strong reporting, communication, and coordination skills.Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems.What makes a true AMANAian?We know that our company growth and success come from our people who continuously drive our company, partners, and clients forward.
