Job DescriptionDevelop and implement a strategic vision for the life insurance claims department in alignment with the company's overall goalsOversee the entire life insurance claims process, from the initial claim notification to final settlement.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.Implement and update claims processing procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and quality of the claims process.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.Work closely with the customer service team to address customer inquiries and complaints handling concerns related to life insurance claims.Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience during the claims process.Collaborate with other departments such as underwriting, legal, finance and other related units to ensure a seamless claims process.RequirementsBachelor's degree in medical, nursing, public health, life insurance, or a related field. Advanced degree or insurance industry certifications are a plus.Proven experience in a leadership role within a life insurance claims department.In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, regulations, and claims processing procedures.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology.
