With a strong sense of community and a dedicated Parents and Citizens Association, Brooweena State School is a friendly and welcoming place for students, staff, and families alike.About The RoleAs a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. Reporting to the Principal or their delegate, you will work collaboratively with staff to support the school's daily operations.Key Responsibilities IncludeCleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, toilet facilities, and shared spaces.Maintaining outdoor areas, including sweeping, hosing, and rubbish disposal.Performing floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and polishing.Ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained for daily use.Reporting safety, security, or maintenance concerns to the Principal or Business Manager.This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, values attention to detail, and enjoys contributing to a positive school environment.About YouThe following traits would be beneficial:Ability to work independently and efficiently.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards.Reliability and a proactive approach to tasks.Experience in cleaning or a similar role (beneficial but not essential).Why Join UsBrooweena State School offers a supportive and friendly work environment where your contributions are valued.
