It has over 800 employees with employees residing in the beautiful Mudgee area, with all the facilities for a fantastic family lifestyle.Job Tasks And ResponsibilitiesThe role is pivotal in supervising earthworks and civil construction projects from concept to hand over, ensuring that safety, cost quality and time requirements are met.Responsibilities IncludeAssist the Projects Delivery Lead with projects and reporting requirements for works being undertaken.Coordinate the day to day activities of site contracting partners to ensure safe, efficient and productive delivery of the Site Project team works.Proactively assess and lead the management of project delivery risk.Proactively engage in ensuring construction activities are always at an acceptable level of risk.Be directly involved in frontline coordination of construction activities.Actively consult with the Project team delivery lead on all things project delivery.Review engineering and construction quality documentation for compliance.Report promptly to the Projects Delivery Lead any substandard workmanship to enable appropriate actions to be taken.Effectively supervise Projects while ensuring that Company and external requirements are met.Skills And ExperienceEssential Criteria:Civil construction background.Supervisory experience with an unwavering commitment to safety.Exceptional communications skills to clearly communicate plans and required outcomes to crews.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supervisory level role.The ability to work 7 on 7 off or 5 on 4 off, 4 on 5 off day shift only roster.BenefitsYancoal provides a range of benefits to appeal to the diverse needs of our employees.
