Exciting Opportunity: Product Owner (NV1 Required) Location: CanberraContract: 12 Months, potential 12 month extension optionSecurity Clearance: NV1 (minimum) We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to step into a key role supporting security-focused business systems across Australia and international missions. If you enjoy driving clarity, shaping product direction, and working closely with technical and operational teams, this opportunity could be a great fit. About the Role You’ll be working within a specialised security portfolio, helping guide and improve a suite of business systems. Your work will help ensure the right features are delivered at the right time and align with organisational goals. What You’ll Be DoingShape and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple projects.Work with a wide range of stakeholders to align product direction with broader priorities.Translate inputs into a clear, organised, and continuously refined product backlog.Develop detailed feature specifications and ensure delivery teams understand requirements.Oversee the development process and keep stakeholders updated.Collaborate closely with IT partners to support smooth and efficient delivery.Prioritise product releases and track performance to guide improvements.Troubleshoot roadblocks and support organisational change activities.Act as the product ambassador and trusted subject-matter point of contact.What We’re Looking ForProven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.Strong understanding of Agile principles and delivery practices.Ability to assess and communicate business value for features and enhancements.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Confidence managing competing priorities in a complex environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience operating within multi-layered or highly regulated environments.To express your interest, please contact Lorena Orp on 02 6113 1800 or email lorena.orp@igniteco.com.Ignite is Australia's preferred partner in recruitment and technology solutions across private and public sectors.
