OT Systems Engineer

SAGE Automation is also part of the SAGE Group which brings the best thinking to critical industrial operators across the Water, Energy, Defence, Transport, Manufacturing and Resources sectors.Join our Darwin team as an OT Systems Engineer and help shape the future of smart, secure, and connected industrial systems in Australia’s Top End.You will support the management and integration of computing infrastructure within typical manufacturing and industrial control systems, including software, hardware, and associated networks.In this role you will:You will design and deliver IT and OT networking and security technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the project.Identify and mitigate technical risk and escalate high risk items to management.You will incorporate strong security controls and monitor the IT and OT infrastructure of the project.Manage and promptly resolve project issues.Manage changes to the technical outcomes of the project.Plan and manage the quality of OT and IT networking and security technical deliverables.Skills & Experience:You will have an appropriate Diploma, Degree or verifiable experience in the application of IT and/or OT technologies.You will have solid experience with industrial networks and technologies including Cisco, Hirschmann, Stratix, routing, switching, firewalls, IoT, PLC, SCADA and DCS.You will embrace challenges and have strong practical commissioning and trouble-shooting experience and be comfortable communicating and engaging with key stakeholders and client representatives.Qualifications in networking, Microsoft, and/or VMware are highly desirable, including CCNA, CCNP, VCTA, VCP, or VMCE, as is industry experience within oil and gas.Join an industry leader:SAGE Group offers you the opportunity to:Develop your career with ongoing learning and support.Gain exposure to a diverse range of projects and industry sectors.Achieve competitive remuneration and employee benefits.SAGE Group is committed to providing a work environment in which everyone is included, treated fairly, and with respect.
